The Future of Jobs is Hybrid

As I embarked on my first steps into the world of work, I was faced with a new landscape at work after COVID-19. I applied for my first internship after finishing my thesis and realized that I had encountered a wide variety of work landscapes to choose from: on-site, remote and hybrid.

I have many questions to ask myself when deciding what type of job I want to apply for. Do I want the luxury of working from the comfort of my home or return to the office for a sense of normalcy after months of being cooped up in the bedroom? I chose to work remotely out of fear that the movement control order would once again damage other job opportunities.

However, the job search process has made me think about what choices I would make in an ideal world. I came to the conclusion that the most interesting option for me is the Hybrid work option.
