The Faculty of Modern Languages and Communication focuses on the development of languages, literature and communication through teaching, research, extension and consultation activities. This faculty is headed by the Dean and three Deputy Deans-Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs), Deputy Dean (Research and Innovation), and Deputy Dean (Graduate Studies and International Affairs).The faculty now consists of four departments : the Department of Malay Language, the Department of English, the Department of Foreign Languages and the Department of Communication. It also has 5 units which are Informatio Technology and Communication Unit, Distance Learning Unit, Communication Technology Unit, National Excellence Unit, and Quality Assurance Unit.
